On a related note, I have noticed and meant to bring it up on here for a very long while now that there is a noticeable latency from pressing the banks on when they are all muted to them actually playing back. To say the KPro is aimed primarily at DJ's, I would have thought they would have made the ...

Be careful when you're getting the RC-50.. buy it from a legit store that you can return it to. I don't own one myself, but after my crazy tempo/syncing problems I had with my KP3, I've started doing lots of research before buying gear. I've read lots about issues with the RC-50 as well, mainly that ...

More questions. Given the hardware I already have (nova, microkorg, Kaossilator, X3): -- Would the KP3 do most of what I'm looking for? --And, will the KP3 sync to/from midi clock? --Can the KP3 send note on off (in order to control other synths?) --it mentions "beat syncing" of samples...does that ...

As much as I want 32 beats or an undo function, it will NEVER happen with this physical iteration of KOPro/KP3.. it's just a fundamental problem of memory.. To double the sampling time to 32 beats, you have to remember you're doubling it for all 4 loop banks. It's a shame too, because half the songs ...

nahhhh the internal drum patterns are off. it doesn't time correctly to any bpm. as far as the other syncing issues, it looks like they're not as bad as I originally remembered (I just re-bought a KP3 off craigslist for super cheap), but the internal drum patterns are definitely programmed off sync ...

I agree. It would have been a good idea and I'd guess it wouldn't have been that difficult to implement but then, they want people to buy the KP3 and this is just another little reason to do that. I'm not sure this is why they left that feature out.. even if you had a KP3, you couldn't easily just ...

wow looks like you're right, k0va.. I downloaded the manual just to satisfy my own curiosity (also I thought you might've just overlooked a setting) but it looks like the KOPro did NOT inheret the KP3's updated OS functionality of changing loop playback settings.. from the manual: "TIP: If you start ...
