It seems that for the money, you would be better off buying the Karma software and getting access to Karma then just getting these sounds without Karma...As well as the extra chord buttons you get with the Karma package you get with that package.

I really like it.... Aside from adding all the combis and programs available on the M-3, i especially like the fact that it allows more than 4 chord buttons..... For an amateur like me, it allows me to broaden the songs i can play and improvise.

More chord pads

At one time I was trying to get more chord pads and considered the nanopad as a vehicle for this. It seemed difficult to achieve. The best solution I found for more chord pads is to buy Karma software. This gives you 8+ chord pads and a whole lot more by turning your m50 almost into an m3..... I am ...

1 speaker vs 2

I guess what i am trying to say is that a one piece unit might not have as much directional stereo vs the all in one speaker unit with 2 to 5 speakers built in. Wouldnt the 2 piece set up to your left and right give better directional stereo sound?

Keyboard amp

I notice that some of you recommend a Keyboard amp, that has 2 speakers, and some of you recommend an amp with just one speaker..... Do you think a good quality 1 speaker amp sounds better than a cheaper 2 speaker amp setup? I am thinking of getting an amp, and my gut feeling is that 2 speakers ...

Help to saving from m50 to PC

I bought Karma software and i love it... It turns your M50 into an M3 in many ways. I like the additional chord buttons it gives you, along with the M3 database of sounds. It adds a dimension of arpeggios that you can get with the m50 out of the box... i say Go for it!

Using 2 keyboards for gigs

This is just a general question. I just came back from a cruise. I noticed that the bands on board where there was a keyboardist always used 2 keyboards. The keyboards were korg or roland. Does the average player find it is just easier to work with 2 keyboards, one sounding like piano, and just ...

Stand for sheet music

Does anyone have any suggestions or know about an adapter for the korg m 50 that lets you mount on the back so you can read sheet music? I thought about a music stand, but it seems clumsy with a keyboard.

chord assign

There was a post by moonshine on sept 13 20009 that made me think the nanopad could be attached to the M 50, maybe i misunderstood.

Alternatives to chord assign buttons

Unlike some of the members here I like the 4 chord buttons. I wish there were more. I was wondering how theses buttons were pre assigned. I noticed that there are different chords for each program or combi. Is there a Global chord assign that would be faster than changing chords using chord assign ...

Keyboard output through home stereo

Hi All! I got my m50 about a month ago and have been lurking around here trying to learn what i can. I love this keyboard. I had played piano when i was 12 and about 9 months ago i took up electric guitar. Guitar is much harder than i thought. I wish to combine the keyboard and guitar together in ...
