Alternatives to chord assign buttons

Post by taxbuster1040 »

Unlike some of the members here I like the 4 chord buttons. I wish there were more.
I was wondering how theses buttons were pre assigned. I noticed that there are different chords for each program or combi.
Is there a Global chord assign that would be faster than changing chords using chord assign? Is there a fast way to go in and change the chords that have been pre assigned without using chord assign? It seems like you can go in and adjust all the characteristics of the sound, but the only way i see to change chords is doing it manually using chord assign.
Also is there an easy way to assign a chord to just pressing an individual key or more so you could trigger chords with one press and so end up with more chords available to you?
I also saw that there were some gadgets that you can attach ( like the nano pad) that have more than 4 buttons. I was wondering how many of you use them and do you like them.
thanks.

Where did you saw that the NanoPAD could be attached to an M50 or any other keyboard. It needs a software component running on a computer with a driver to function. It cannot be hard wired to the keyboard. Well, I mean, you can, but it will be like attaching a printer to a keyboard. Useless :roll:

Yeah, well I have to say that I haven't truely studied the options of the NanoPad at all. I just remember that some guys somewhere at some point mentioned that they use NanoPad for these purposes :)

But looping the MIDI out of the computer back to the keyboard.

I mean:

nanoPAD-->usb-->PC-->usb-midi-out-->Keyboard midi IN

Is the only way I know of.
