My particular liking towards the electribes is based on the fact that you can track parts together to make different concepts of songs, on the fly. I prefer that easability.

The ES-1 cost a lot or does it depend on if its new, used or where you get it?

I will be using other synth/samplers later on, I was just wondering if the older electribes were any good. I'm quite comftorable with the emx and was considering using the other models due to ease of use and with being able to operate it with fair knowledge.

I have a Korg EMX-1, but would it be good to also use the older electribe models? They might not have as much functionality and features as the emx-1 but is there good sounds packed into them? aka; beats, mostly as the emx-1 doesn't have as much as it does have synth. Any advice would be appreciated ...
