Thanks
Thanks again, X-Trade. I tried it but I'm still not too clear on some of it. I will learn. In the meantime, I found my drum machine which I will midi to one of my other keyboards. I know i can control the volumn & effects on it. Again, thanks and I know it would have taken forever (if then) to do ...

you don't need to change the channels
X-Trade, Thank you ever so much. I think I have it figured out now. It really wasn't that hard. However, the combi I created required a drum kit on left. Thanks, Macondo, I'll give it a try. Last night I tried some of the other suggestions without any success. I'll install the editor and give it a whirl. Is it intuitive or is there anything I should know about using the editor? Any help would be appreciated. I'm good on computers but not on keyboard ...

Hi! I am John but friends call me Midiman. I'm new to today's synth technology and will undoubtly be asking questions like the one I submitted this morning on the X50 forum. I love my new X50 so far and I'm looking forward to learning all I can about it (with y'all's help).

I am also new to the mordern synth scean. I played professionally about 20 years ago and wanted to get back in. The older synths I have Like the Roland JX8P and Yamaha DX-21 which were high tech in their day, seem like toys compaired to today's technology. Here's my question. I want to set up a drum ...
