Problem with Open Electribe Editor

Hi folks. I'm relatively new to this editor so if these seem stupid questions, they probably are. ;-) I've downloaded a load of samples and have imported them into the editor, then saved that to the SD card. They show up on the list (in the editor) but when I load the file into the ESX, only so many ...

Thanks for your reply, will check out SampleMagic. The specific sound I'm referring to is the percussive tom-tom sounds at the start of this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5XJ2GiR6Bo EDIT: Anyone else who's after this sound, it's apparently made by the Roland CR-78. Samples of which can be ...

Good sources of drum samples (free/paid)?

Relatively new ESX owner here. I've been trawling for good drum samples and other than Goldbaby, I've not yet been able to find what I really want. In general, I'm seeking a large range of electronic drum sounds (not just 808's, etc...). But also, specifically, I'd love to get hold of a sound (no ...

But thank you anyway, don't know how I managed to miss that.

ESX-1 effects problem?

This is probably something I'm doing wrong but I'll ask anyway. I can't get ANY effects to work. At all. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, whether it's having 1 effect or the full chain of all 3 effects, none of it makes ANY difference. If I just select, say, the snare drum I'm using, and turn ...

I know this doesn't mean much but the guy who worked in the shop where I bought my M50 said he thought the M3 sounded better than the M50, then I directed him to the above quote which he seemed rather surprised about.

Anyone think they could programme this?

I've had a bit of a play to try to get a sound like this one but I'm still not proficient enough with the M-50's weird way of doing things to get a good match. If only it were as easy as my MS-2000.... Anyway the sound I'm after probably isn't too hard to replicate. It's used in a tune by a German ...

Simply place the M-50 on a level piece of ground and slowly reverse your car over the keyboard. Job done.

Or do you literally mean a "drift" in tempo where the clock isn't constant between the two arps !!!!!!!!!! ^ This. I have it on the setting where it should carry on an arp sequence regardless of when you press keys (can't remember the exact name of the setting), but it does gradually drift out of ...

No I've often played arps that have drifted out of synch with the drums, no idea why. :(

I've noticed in Programme mode too, the drums and Arp sometimes go out of sequence with each other. :?
