These are so well-done and informative.....keep 'em coming!! :D

Is there a master index of these somewhere -- something organized like a table of contents?

Um, because it's worth it? :D

I didn't get any special pricing or discounts, and while everybody wants a bargain, I'm just thrilled with my Radias-R.....and even happier with my M3-61.... 8)

Stefanus:

You're right -- totally forgot about the on-screen keyboard. Suddenly this seems much easier to implement...so until Korg gives us this search function I will be completely disappointed with my M3.

Yes, I'd like this as well....if it was easy to use. Not sure how it'd work, though: something like hold Enter + Prog or Enter + Combi and then some way of typing letters. Obvious approach would be telephone-style text entry using the numeric keypad....or it might be fun to use the actual keyboard ...

aerial - I have trouble finding the power switch myself on certain occasions. I think a remote key fob would be the perfect solution. Maybe have one button just for raising and lowering the module. how about a proximity sensor so that it can detect my rate of approach and be completely booted up by ...

No thanks -- I have my Radias-Rack sitting next to my M3, so I'm all set for knobs and switches....heck, some days I'm lucky just to find the power switch.....

Yeah, I'd like to see that feature as well.... Also, I'd like to see a little bit of color added to the editors. Just a subtle hint of color would better help to group the controls and make the editors look fantastic. Another nice-to-have would be for the flyover for a given button, knob, etc., to ...

There can be. I'm a Java developer, so I wrote a little utility that will extract the patch names out of a midi dumpfile and then produce an INS file. I know it's cruel to mention it, because I can't share it, but it is definitely possible.

Just quick follow-up.....got my Radias rackmount about a week ago and am just thrilled with it. Didn't have 2.0 on it, and to be honest the presets weren't that great -- but I like the 2.0 set alot! This is my first true synth, so at first I thought I'd just dive into creating my own sounds, but ...

(Why-oh-why can't the Radias Sound Editor load R3 patches?)

Just tried out the Radias as a surface controller; fairly simple to assign one of its knobs to a VST soft synth in sonar.....however, is there a way to have it operate JUST as a controller? I.e., have the controls bypass the Radias itself?

Search the forum -- I thought I saw somebody had something like this occur but found something in the updater that would force a firmware reload or maybe I just imagined it all....let me know if you can't find it the thread I'm thinking of.... I just updated my new Radias over the weekend, and all ...

just got mine, and I'm in way over my head, so maybe my contributions aren't relevant.....but here goes.... first, a small utility that will produce a cakewalk instrument file from the Radias, either directly or from an .rdl file or whatever. i don't want to have to maintain the instrument file ...

Thanks for the thoughts, folks....I've decided to go with the Radias rack now and later I'll replace the JV-80 with the Juno-G (or whatever comes next). All that's left is to figure out how to mount it for use in my studio and what sorta case I'll use for traveling with it. Ideally, those would be ...
