New M3 piano tutorial

Post by RichF »

Hi everyone,

I've just posted a new video on how to get the most from the M3 pianos, specifically the new one included in the free XPanded update. Check them out here:

Hi Rich,

Thanks very much for a nice tutorial. It's good to see you "at work" with the 4-layer piano. Thanks especially for the tips on tone and EFX adjustments. I didn't know about the sample stretch parameter and the nice differences that can make. I'm off to try it out!

I hope you will keep releasing videos, your efforts are much appreciated. I would like to see you playing around with EXB-RADIAS sounds on video sometime soon!

Best regards,
Rob

Question about the damper affect on pianos, Well really on the electric piano sounds. The Pan Suit Piano sounds awesome, but the sustain when pushing the damper is WAAAAY to long. I have set all the decays down done tons of stuff and still it just rings on an on forever. Chords blend and sounds really muddy. Any ideas?

Thanks

Patience, Rich is already giving us at least one or two (really useful) tutorials a month. And every second counts. I was amazed on the "Organizing Favorite Sounds" tutorial. He managed to squeeze the last drop of information in just 10 minutes.

Awesome work, Rich. Really.

Yes that pitch stretch control was also new to me. It changes the tuning and transpose of all the OSC's. See also http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmuyF15S ... annel_page for more info on the realtime control.
