the original was programmed into an early computer sequencer using information about a guru (meher baba, I think) birth date, etc... I say find the notes, use a random arp, and put a single bpm delay on it. We used to do a cover live using and old whitehall farfisa, digital delay, and a wah pedal ...

I'm loving this thing.... very flexible, and it sounds very nice...warm and rich in harmonics. The presets are cheesy, but that's what INIT patch is for! I love the Analog tune setting, as I love that motion in pads.

well, It came finally...unfortunately, I ended up in the hospital for the last 3 days...had a very bad allergic reaction to something and ended up with a rash on 80% of my body that felt like the worst case of poison ivy with a severe sunburn on top of it. My wife brought the manual in for me so I ...

gotta love the pads pumping with the bass drum. one of my fave tricks, I even used to do it for my guitar-based bands...throw a side mix of BD, bass guitar, and rhythm guitar through a cheap- ass 3630 and bring it front and center...

MBV used to experiment with s**t like that...

very nice. liked the song, too. It's going on my ipod, I wanna hear in in my car... (the true test!) ;) I just was goofing around myself with the formants today and ripped this one out...only spent a few hours on it so far, and I basically did this mix on the fly, so lots of mistakes. I noticed from ...

Any advice from the R3 owners here? I'm not new to synthesis, but I've never touched the R3...can't wait to dig in...the only standalone synths I've owned are the moog opus 3 (given away by my drummer to his brother) and the korg micro-preset (not exactly flexible...but it is warbly and broken!) I ...

obviously, that a&H mixer is way better, but unless you're a pro making loot at this I wouldn't spend the xtra dough. If you're a trained audiophile, you will notice a diff in headroom and clarity, but most of that would be in the mic pre's anyway, and you prob won't really use those anyway, since ...

I have a setup I like that's based on 2 small mixers w/ fx send return. here's how it's setup: emx 1 with all four outputs split with line splitters. one set is run into one of those xenyx mixers and one to another. the sum from the first mixer is run to the kaoss 3, and the output of that is run to ...
