Easy Fix / Not Error
This is not an error. The samples are stored in another folder outside the normal .SNG folder. As long as they exist you will keep getting this message. Note: These sample files cannot be deleted the normal way by deleting the track or measures under the Track Edit tab. [In DISK MODE] 1. Say your ...

Kronos2 WAV / CD first second of playback being cut off.
When I 'bounce a song to disk' in sequencer mode, and then record to the attached cd burner, everything is finalized and play back the cd (even after transferring the songs to my computer), the first second of every song gets cut off. I've record one song to disk and multiple songs both at 8x and at ...

Kronos2 Crashing / Long error tone plays
While in sequencer mode on my Kronos2 (73) it'll crash, everything freezes, and a loud pulse sounds. I have to shut it off to get it normal again. I'm only ever in sequencer mode, so I don't know if it doesn't any other time. It's crashed while playing a sequence as well as being idle. Anyone else ...

Studio Monitors Loud Hum/Noise in Sequencer Kronos
Basic setup.. Korg Kronos L/R out to Samson Resolv5 powered studio monitors. Playing regular patches is fine, but switching to Sequencer mode (off and not playing) the monitors start putting out a lot hum. Am I able to get rid of the hum or at least reduce it? Either by adjustments in the Korg, or ...

Delete song from Sequencer / Kronos
Does the Kronos have a way for a song to deleted from disk? Say I have 5 songs loaded to the sequencer. There doesn't seem to be a way to delete 'song 04', and then save the now four songs. Or, I can't open up the directory, load a blank "new song" to the song 04 spot, and then save. One thing I ...

Preset Sound Heartache!
I've had my Kronos for two years, and I still have not wrote one song/sequence on it. I get so frustrated with all the "famous" sounds, meaning sounds from popular Journey or Lady Gaga songs (to name a couple). The Kronos is a beast in being able to create new sounds, but I don't always want to ...

Korg Triton X Transfer Midi Data to Computer?
I have the classic Triton ProX with a floppy drive. I bought an external floppy drive in hopes that I could hook it up to my computer with the Korg disk in the drive, read the "general midi data", and then transfer that data to a USB. Anyone know if there's a step I'm missing, or if it's even ...

Kronos Multisample Load & Save Issue
Wanting to know my options and best practice when working with custom multisample. Ex... I have 244 individual samples loaded, saved, and set up in the Global "KSC Auto Load." I use 61 (of the 244) unique samples to make up 4 full 61-key multisample's. MS's are all saved to Program, saved to disk ...

Kronos Sampling Left & Right Stereo Save
Trying to understand how I assign a sample (to a single key within a Multisample) when that sample has both a "left" and "right" file. I know there is a dropdown option to convert a stereo file to mono. But this doesn't seem like the correct approach when something that's stereo needs to stay in ...

Korg Kronos General Midi Banks
Question about the Kronos "General Midi" patches. I would like to know the purpose of the General Midi patches. There is the I-G, g(1-9,d) banks. Why are there so many sounds, with so many of them being so generic in sound and name? Do all the other EXi and HD-1 sound originate from the GM patches ...
