ES2 user samples not appearing on SD card?

Post by aordinary »

I dunno if I am the only one having this problem or if there is an obvious solution, but I have a bunch of samples loaded onto an SD card, and only maybe half of them actually show up in the list when I go to load them on the device. That is to say, when I go to import the samples individually, a bunch of the samples do not appear on the list when I navigate to the Samples folder on the SD card.

All my files are WAVs. Does anyone know if it's picky about 16-bit vs 24-bit samples, or 41k vs 48k sample rates, or mono vs stereo, or the length of the sample, or any particular combination of the above? I can't imagine it would be a naming convention thing, as I have definitely cut down the length of the file names to be readable on the screen.

I have a feeling once I have this thing loaded with a bunch of my samples and start making music, I will learn to love it. Until then it is kinda being a pain in my ass...

Actually, I just counted the number of samples in the list vs the number that I actually put on the card, and while I put 185 samples on there it is only displaying exactly 100 of them. Can you only have 100 samples on an SD card?? Did I just answer my own question?
