Samples not loading after power cycling Electribe Sampler?

Post by aordinary »

Hello! New user here. Just got myself a new Electribe Sampler and am running into some issues:

The main issue is that I loaded some samples from my computer onto an SD card, popped it into the Electribe and started making some patterns with them, but the samples do not appear to save when you power cycle the unit. Note that when I make a pattern, I can write the pattern, switch to a different one, then switch back to the original and all my samples are still there. But when I turn the device off, all the samples I loaded from the SD card disappear, and I have to go through and reload them all individually off the card, then reassign them to the corresponding parts/pads in the pattern I was working on. Note that the pattern information saves just fine, but the samples have to be reloaded.

Am I missing something? I really want to love this device, but am finding the menu diving to be a bit fiddly, and as if loading individual samples one at a time weren't already a pain, if I have to reload them every time I turn on the device, that may be a deal breaker I am sorry to say. =( May end up selling this and hunting down an ESX1SD if these issues are not resolved...

Oh wait... I went through all the trouble of writing this and just found my answers in this thread:

...Sounds annoying, but I will give it a shot ASAP.

The pattern write should export associated samples.

The pattern write should export all the associated samples.
