connect a computer keyboard to the PA3x?

Post by Marcus2222 »

Are my able to use a computer keyboard via USB to do my "searches" (styles, sounds, etc) instead of using fingertips on the LED display letters?

Well, you can use your computer to playback midi files (using the keyboard as a sound module), create midi sequences/Styles in a DAW...etc, but you can NOT open a SET file, unless you have a special software like KorgPA Manager, or EMC? I don't know how EMC works, but with Korg PA manager you can actually open a SET and view/manage its properties.

Sorry, but no.

There are a few keyboards that can do this, but the PA series ain't one of them.

I really wish they ALL would add this, especially keyboards without touch screens (or keyboards with touch screens as unresponsive as the PA's), because naming stuff is a total PITA using numeric buttons (cough, cough, Roland!  )
