Pattern Sets

Sorry if this has been asked on another thread but I did a search and couldn't find an answer (may have been error/laziness on my part)

How do I create my own pattern sets? I know the 1-4 buttons switch what bank/set I'm in but how do I assign a pattern to a slot in the set?

While holding down the Pattern Set button, press the trigger pad you want to assign it to.

The way pattern sets are done is counter intuitive. I forget all the time and is one feature I have to go back to the manual for. I keep the manual in my phone.

I always want to pick a pad, choose the pattern and hit write button, thats not how it works...LOL
