sampler

Post by leehu »

Ugh... have been checking with the retailer I ordered the sampler with and every day the delivery date has been ticking back 1 day at a time - checked today and it had moved from 9th Feb to 27th Feb - looks like we've still got a bit of a wait on our hands :(

not sure tbh - you may be right - initially thought they were being released at the same time so I was way out with that...

Yeah, I see most retailers in the US showing as March, as Korg first announced. I'm surprised they didn't have one at NAMM. We'll if Mistabishi has one, anything can happen.

was there? i haven't heard anything about that!

Anyways seems like korg likes to release sampler based devices (volca sample) later than the rest of the lines
APC80 - kaoss pad quad - Launchpad - Launch control - an iPad Air 2 with a slew of useless gimmicky apps - electribe 2 free! - and future volca owner.

I remember seeing video footage of Rich F. showing the standard version at NAMM, but not the sampling version.

Also, the Volcas were a totally different situation. The Sample version wasn't even announced till months after the first three were already in stores.

someone I know was there - maybe they were mistaken and confused it for the synth version, but I would say that was unlikely..
