Fatar keybeds for Korg synths?
Korg used both Yamaha and Fatar keybeds for their synths. I have an N364 whose keybed is beyond repair so I'm on the hunt for a replacement keybed. I'm unsure if I can buy a completely different (broken) synth and gut the keybed from it to use as a replacement for the N364's keybed, but I'm pretty certain the N364 has a Fatar-type keybed in it. I can't find a model # or anything on the broken one that I have.
My next option is to buy an N364 that's broken but I'm not having much luck finding one.

It's a Fatar TP/9S according to http://billfulton.com/music-news/fatar- ... r-actions/
Yamaha S80, Kronos 61.
tp9s you can still buy from doepfer
they are used in lots of synths the quasimidi cycber 6 uses the same keybed
as does some synth action kurzweils
the 01w uses yamaha metal keyframes whats the number of keys is your model as that usually when you find its a fatar plastic keybed they are good but if a key stop snaps then you usuaqlly have to replace the keybed
unlike the yamaha versions if they fail you can replace a 12 key section but also they use meta frame stops so dont suffer from the same problem
many a esq1 has been putto the rubbish heap and parted because of this

I'm not sure that the TP/9S is the exact model. On the Fatar page there aren't the little holes for the keys to snap onto:

I bought a replacement keybed for the N364. Turns out it's the wrong keybed, but it works. It looks like it has a few more long resistors on it and less stickers with ID numbers like my original one.
The main difference I noticed between the two is that the keybed I got is semi-weighted. It has weights glued underneath each white key and the black keys have an extended piece on them which are the weights. I popped this into my N364 and it works fine.
I'm not sure how to identify a Fatar keybed seeing as there are only seemingly random serial numbers on it in various places. The keybed I got works (and it definitely feels nice too), but I'd like to identify it.

Apparently I have the same board that's in a Kurzweil K2000, which is noted as being a Fatar TP/9S on a page linked earlier, but I'm not sure.
You can see the exact board I got here: http://tk386.com/k2000_keys/index.html

The only physical difference is the weighted keys and those long resistor-looking things (yellow and black coating). My original keybed seems to have 1 less or so, plus they're not coated.

That isn't literally the board I bought, it's just the exact model. Mine doesn't have a bad spring
You see that black part on the keybed itself where the springs mount onto? There was some black plastic missing on the top side of it so the keys are a little off.
I was surprised that even though I was sent the wrong replacement board that it works anyway. I guess you can take a weighted or semi-weighted board and switch them out at your leisure.
