i30hd problem

hi every one, i am new,

when power my i30hd on, it shows the following message :

If you have the OS diskettes, reload the OS.

Seriously, I would get a Korg service engineer to check it out (maybe get a quote for costs).

hello pete, thanks,

the cause of this problem is :
i dump "all data" from another i30 with cakewalk pro audio through "midi to usb" cable to pc, after that i send the .syx from pc to my i30HD, then the SYSTEM ERROR appears on lcd after powering on my i30, lcd show the version 2.1.3 & HDD installed & the error message that i explain in my firs post .

Ah this explains it - unfortunately this is a dangerous procedure on the i30 and fraught with problems. SYSEX dumps/loads can be very destructive to the vulnerable i30.
You have to be very careful NOT to upset the OS on the i30 - sadly there is no factory ROM so if the boot routines are destroyed or corrupted only Korg can fix it.
This was the problem if you lost power during an OS update - the i30 is not forgiving - there is no way back.

Fortunately the later PA series can always boot to reload OS and restore.
