Putting Felt Under Synth-Action Keys

Post by GP830 »

I recently bought an MX49 for my bread and butter sounds. It's great for this, but as someone who is use to playing on a weighted key Stage Piano, I'm having a hard time playing expressively with the synth-action keys.

Has anyone ever thought about putting a strip of felt underneath the keys so that give a little bit of resistance upon pressing them. It would have to be the exact correct height for the feel to improve while still voicing the notes correctly.

Has anyone ever tried this to improve their synth-action keys buy doing anything like this?
