Ms20 Mini and Doepfer MAq16/3

Hi Everyone.. Possible dumb questions coming..please be kind ;o)

I have just got hold of the Ms20 Mini and want to sequence using the Doepfer Maq16/3 which I already have.
I know that I have to get a converter to change the gate output on the Maq from V to S trigger but will the ms20 then work with the Cv outputs from the sequencer or am I barking up the proverbial wrong tree ??

I am beginning to wish I had kept the Dark Time that I sold last year ;o(
I also have the DSI Evolver Desk To synth..is there any way I could utilise the sequencer on that ?
