Just the other day I noticed that Thomann no longer sells the KRONOS-X 88.
Roland's Fantom-G range is gone, and the entire Motif XF range is on offer as part of a bundle.
Roland, Yamaha and KORG now are well represented with the FA, the MOXF and the Krome (even though the latter is not an alternative to the KRONOS), and it could be that the new definition of high-end workstations is the current $1000-2000 range and the former high end is being phased out.
Or is it because sales figures are declining to the point where stores avoid keeping expensive workstations in stock, or could it be that new replacements in the $3000-4000 range of workstations are on the horizon later this year?
With Thomann being one of the biggest musicstores in Europe I thought it was strange to see they no longer sell the KRONOS-X 88.
New definition of high-end workstation?

Hmmm....That's Interesting.
Thomann would easily probably be one of the biggest in the world so to see the KRONOS 88 removed is quite odd.
I can't see KORG replacing the KRONOS anytime soon though. I would think it's still a good seller for KORG.
Hard to know though.
