Anyone played with a Tempest?

Post by Bertotti »

I am curious of anyones thoughts on the DSI Tempest it looks really interesting to me. I like the tweakablity it seems to have but then again I think something like the integra 7 has a roland drum section. Just curious thanks!

You'll definitely receive more responses to your question if you post on the Keyboard Magazine forum.

I have done a lot of googling and as much as I like it it will wait. Just not exactly what I am looking for yet. I would like to get one but it just isn't it at the moment. Ever have a shadow of a concept, nothing concrete, and no real direction to go? I will figure it out.

I love the Tempest, it's got a bit of a learning curve but well worth the investment if you are into making and manipulating rhythms, and yes as a hybrid 6 voice synth there is nothing quite like it with its 2 analog/2 digital/1 analog sub oscillator, resonant LP and HP filter voice config.
