New Audito Technica ATR2100 Cardiod Dynamic Mike`

I got the above mic for Christmas and want to make sure that it will work well with the Kronus. The first problem seems to be it has USB and XLR connections but I think I need 1/4" male end to go into the Kronus.

Let me know your thoughts and what connector I need. Thanks.

You need a standard female XLR to 1/4" TRS. I you need phantom power you will need an external power supply for that.

sorry, I just noticed it is a dynamic mic, so you won't need an external power supply.

The cable I described IS balanced, that is why I recommended it. The Kronos inputs ARE balanced.

Just FYI - I don't have that mic but am using my Beyerdynamic opus 81 with the cable described and can verify that it works well once you get the mic/line switch and trim pot set correctly.
