Have bought a Fantom G6 (new, 3year guaranty 1600€) with ARX-01/02 cards ($200,- Sweetwater) and 512MB RAM (Apple Ram from the bits box). It may have lower tech innards than the Kronos but the UI seems to be much more to my liking. I can use a mouse if I want to.
The last v1.30 OS + FG Connects live update also seems to be full of usable stuff and the workflow is so much better than the Kronoss. Of course it´s not as flexible being 'only' a rompler.
I think it´s a nice addition to my M3. Anyone here to share his/her experience?

I don't have a G as I thought - and still think - it was more of a side grade rather than an upgrade to the Fantom X.
That said, I have to say that I DO prefer Roland's more straightforward approach to sequencing. I use the Fantom X to sketch out ideas and the audio recording is also more intuitive for me than the Kronos. This seems to be the consensus of many Fantom X and G owners.
Current gear: Kronos, Jupiter 80, Kurzweil PC3,Roland Fantom X8, Roland XV-88 (yep, its old, but the ACTION is heaven and those XV-3080 sounds are still wonderful for me), Radias-R, Motif ES (yeah it's older but I love the guitars )
I really enjoy the Interface. It´s much easier to use than the M3 but also not as capable because of the missing Radias VA engine. The sequencer is so easy to use! If only Korg would try to rewrite their OS to be more like Roland. For now I will use the Fantom most of the time. The G is organized like an iOS/OSX APP bundle with it´s project folders. Now they only have to get over all that FAT32 retro limitations. Roland should be able to build a Workstation that could be superior to the Kronos if they would combine the V-Synth with the Fantom. The one thing Korg really does better is the flexible effect structure and routing. At the moment I am happy to have both M3 and Fantom G.
