Legacy Collection re-issue licence !!!

Post by filterego »

Does anyone else have the same problem? :
Each time I do Windows 7 updates then Legacy Collection (MS-20, M1, Wavestation) need to re-issue licence code.
Every Time...!!!

I send e-mail to Korg and they send it to Korg distributor in Greece.
They are very polite but they couldn't give me solution.

It's the only software needs to retrive licences after Windows Udates!

All other software (Waves, UVI, Steiberg etc) they have licences in keys (eg iLok, e-Licencer)

Is Korg able to give a solution to this problem, please?

:(

Same problem for me (I also have Win7, 64 bit) but even worse: locking code changes after each reboot! I do not know how exactly Korg calculates this code but what is sure is that my MAC address does not change.

Finaly I have the solution.
I found it here :

If you can't login or have not an account, here is the solution.
Keep in mind that first you have to uninstall all Korg Legacy 32bit and 64bit.
Next follow the steps.
They mention just the M1LE but works for all Legacy Collection:

Please check if you have install only the plugins you have purchase.
Log in into your Korg user net account and check what plugins you have purchase. Don't install unregistered or cracked plugins.
Maybe that's the reason...

The return of THE problem

Post by filterego »

After some Windows updates without having to request new licenses, today the problem came back. I just updated the windows and after the restart KLC asked me for licenses.
What's the solution finally?
Why Korg don't answer?
Is the Legacy Collection abandoned?

It might be VPN problem

Post by owhsinchu »

Hi, are you using a secure VPN (virtual private network)?
I had the same problem with the re-issue and uninstalled my VPN (Juniper). After that it worked. VPN kind of messes up with the network settings. Even though it is not started it just hangs in there. I had a similar problem with Waves products. Waves helped me to find out the problem and it was my VPN.
Hope it helped and Cheers.

I have a wireless router and a repeater. My PC is quite away from my router so I need a repeater. I also have installed Team Viewer and Loopbe1 but I can't uninstall them because I need them. Thank you for your advise. Do you have some more details to give me, please?
