Admins, spam overload

Apparently KorgForums got about roughly 1000 new members in 3 weeks, so it probably hasn't really gone unnoticed. Good luck... It's a shame a good forum like this is suddenly submitted to spam-attacks. Love this forum, hope it doesn't get hi-jacked by spammers.

Without a doubt you've already spotted these guys, but it's pretty annoying when you think suddenly every topic on the forum has a new discussion, and it turns out just to be one of these w*nkers. I'm sure it's within forum policies to put their accounts here, and I'm sure you can delete them (if you're not already working on that; if so, apologies for my impatience)

Once I was trying to organize a group order from Alibaba / China
and wrote , that I am a newbie with paypal .

Later I received a fishing mail on my special forum email adress
about issues with my paypal account
and I should get in contact with somebody ???

as I dont use my waterdrum email adress for money transfer
(not that stupid !)
I reacted the Austrian way : I did "not even ignore it" ....
same for spam
My official paypal account is OK
still wondering

If bots are getting through, change the CAPTCHA security check when registering, use a new algorithm or make it more complex.
