Wavestation: OMNI mode...KORG SUPPORT please Help!

Wavestation seems to default to Midi Receive OMNI Mode. It's receiving midi messages on ALL channels. Is there a way to assign the Wavestation its own MIDI Channel?

KORG Support, Please assist.

Yes, load up Wavestation in a plugin host of your choice, then restrict the track it's loaded on to a particular MIDI channel. The plugin itself doesn't seem to have the facility of setting the MIDI receive channel.

Hmm, That's a major failure on Korg's behalf! I have the original wave station keyboard version and you can set the basic Midi channel.

Note: The M1 Legacy does give you the option to set a basic Midi channel...wonder why they left that feature off the wavestation legacy.
