The new mac looks very cool. But while I am still paying my 12 core off it will be quite a few years before I even entertain the thought of a new mac.

As you are I am very interested to see it action.

The new Mac Pro looks very cool however i fear they migh put expansive proffesional video cards which are not needed for a music production.

I would expect it will have high end video cards. I would be surprised if it didn't. I'm ok with that. However it would be nice if they would leave enough choices for those who are more bent to music or video so they could tweak a system to suit their needs.

do u know how much AMD W9000 cost? 5000$
But Mac Pro suppouse to have two.

P.s. I hope they will offer some non proffesional video cards or no at all as BTO because shurely for some proffesionals it is great video cards but for music production it is not needed.

I just saw the specs for the new Mac Pro. Holy sheite!!!! Makes me wish I waited a year.

I need to reD the specs and see just what they are doing I sure hope the entry level doesn't cost as much as I think it. Have the finally released it? I have been on the road so much I have seen no news.

I'm a Mac guy but for the windows person the price may just change your mind. Looks like Oct22 may be the day. Never can tell though.

Just in case you did not hear the rumors, I just read on Mac life that Mac Pro will not hit stores until Nov 15th.

I hope they won't be selling Mac Pro with 2 FirePro W5000 as a base model. lol
Because it is not needed for music making.
I wish they offer new Mac Pro with gaming video cards at list as BTO...
