Phantom pitch bending

Post by danhewitt »

Just recently, my Kronos 61 has started periodically slowly rising in pitch while I'm the middle of playing, maybe three or four times a night. A quick flick of the joystick resets it, but as you can imagine it's a bit annoying and embarrassing in the middle of a show.

Amazingly, my previous Triton Extreme did the exact same thing before I bought the Kronos, and I haven't resolved that one either, but I'm not using it at the moment.

Has anyone else had this happen and found a solution?

Thanks,

Dan

I had this happen with an M3. Not only pitch but what ever other modulations were assigned to the joystick. That's how it started with mine, just once in a while, then more frequently and finally the board became unplayable. I had to have the joystick replaced.

Maybe it's the ribbon or the Vector JS. Did you try disabling them?
