Third Party Volume Pedal

Post by rex888 »

I have a PROEL Volume pedal and have this issue since I got my Triton.

The sensitivity of this pedal is too high. So it jumps from value 0-127 in about 25% of the pedal position.

I have tried this pedal with my Roland or M-Audio keyboards and it worked as normal.

Does anyone know how to adjust the sensitivity from Kronos? Or should I use only Korg official pedals?

Or perhaps any other brands that are compatible with Korg standard?

Different manufacturers use different voltages. But Korg and Yamaha are the same. Most players on here seem to prefer the Yamaha FC-7 over the Korg alternative. I certainly do, I have two and they're excellent. They work across the full range of the Korg keyboards.

It's not really the voltage, but the pin assignment. If it's a version with detachable cable, you coud try swapping tip and ring on one end of the cable... This worked for me with a Boss pedal, which also showed exactly the behaviour you described, when I first used a standard 1:1 TRS cable.

What about a Behringer FB1010? Volume pedal is perfectly linear, and the pedalboard can do so much more.
