Midi Receiving Error- F0 42 30 68 73 01 06 00 7F 04

Post by db1 »

Hello:

When I try to send my combi's that were created in the Karma software to my Kronos. I get the following error on the Kronos.

Midi Receiving Error
F0 42 30 68 73 01 06 00 7F 04 ... (8937 BYTES).

I'm cluless as to what this means. Any & all help will be appreciated. I'm not sure what I need to do. :-k

Thank you

Have you managed to send the midi data previously with success?

Or is this the first time its failed?

Have you tried to update to the latest Korg midi driver? There is a new one I think.

Checked your midi / usb cables? have you changed / swapped cables lately?

Probably best to contact Stephen at Karma-labs.

Hi:

Thanks for responding. I have uploaded my combi's into the software before, but this is the first time I have tried to send them back into the Kronos.

I also have an M3 & I have done this several times without problems.

I have the latest midi driver installed.

I checked the mid & USB cables. Assuming the cables were bad,I tried 2 different cables, but still no success.

I also posted this in the Karma-Lab forum.
Hoprfully Mr. Kay can help me out.

Thank you for your input.

Another thought, perhaps you need to use a USB 2 port? Are you using a USB 1 port?

Hi:

Yes I'm using USB 2. When I get home I will try a different USB port & see if that helps. I recently removed all my cables then plugged them back in. So maybe that has something to do with it. I will see.

Thanks
