Hi Guys,
Yesterday, I purchased the Legacy Collection M1 (mac version) and I received the confirmation e-mail with the product code etc. So I went to register the product through Korg User Net and it said I could not complete the registration process (and therefore obtain my license authorisation code) because I was using an outdated version of the software (even though I downloaded v 1.6.5).
So anyway, it directed me to the 'download for registers users' page and I downloaded the 165 .dmg again, just to be sure, then removed all references to Korg from my Mac. But it is still doing the same thing - I open up M1 in Logic pro and I get the authorisation screen popping up with the locking code appearing as 0-0000.
Can anyone please help as this is extremely frustrating.
By the way, if anyone's best advice is to contact my local Korg dealer, forget about it. I live on an island in Thailand. The nearest Korg dealer is in Bangkok and they hadn't the first idea what I was on about when I called them.
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Locking Code For Newly Purchased M1 is 0-00000???

Sorry I can't help your problem but your Korg Country Distributor, IS REQUIRED BY KORG JAPAN to support both hardware and software.

Your local Korg dealer might not be able to help, but your Korg Country Distributor is supposed to help.
Did you contact Music Concept Concept, Co?
If they are the ones you contacted I would suggest contacting them again and asking them if their being a Korg Country Distributor requires them to support all Korg Products, including both software and hardware.
If a Korg Country Distributor can't solve a problem, THEY are supposed to contact Korg Japan.

** KORG Product Support Contacts **
(they support BOTH hardware and software)
Korg USA Product support -- https://www.korgusa.com/contactus (For fastest service I would suggest calling them on the phone)
Outside the U.S. contact your Korg Country Distributor -- https://www.korg.com/us/corporate/distributors/

Thanks very much for the reply. I hadn't come across Music Concept Co. in my research actually - I'll drop them a line!
Cheers,
