i40M variations from midi foot controller

Post by sonaroid »

I try to find a way to control i40M from Behringer FCB1010 foot controller. Program changes work OK, but is there a way to switch variations and fills using midi commands? May be some sysex messages?

This may be a useless answer but I have done this successfully on my PA1XPro/PA2Xpro - you need to check the CC MIDI values for the style elements (it wasn't SYSEX) - it should work but I did not have my FCB1010 when I had my i30.

I see if I can find my old docs

I was not clear in my question. Program change messages work ok for the sounds, arrangements and keyboard sets, but not for the style variations. On PA Korgs there is ability to switch variations by sending PC #80 and higher.
