Where to sell my Korg Oasys 88 Studio - Like Brand New

Post by djain1027 »

I am trying to find the best place to sell my Korg Oasys 88 keyboard which has hardly been used and is like a brand new item. I do not want to go through the hassle of ebay listing if I can avoid it. All unopened original documentation and CD are also available with this unit. This unit is 100% functional and is in great shape. Can the Korg experts here help me point in the right direction. Thanks.

There's a Buy and Sell area here at KF - have never listed anything there so don't know what kind of response you might get.

Also don't know what you expect to get for it $/£ whatever. The OASYS is an old machine and the Kronos has made it all the older which has knocked the used sales price down.

Also Korg released all the paid-for expansions as freebies so you can't add that to the value either.

eBay or Craigslist are probably you're best bets.

Alternatively, if you're wanting a new keyboard, your local music store may consider a part exchange or something like that.

Shame you want to sell :(

What do you consider to buy instead if I may ask?

Man don't do it no matter how tough your situation. You will be eternally sorry you sold it. I would never ever sell mine. These instruments come only once in a lifetime. And no the Kronos is not the Oasys and not any better if you consider its distinctive quality and workmanship. DON'T DO IT.

You say " he's not really a music guy.... bought it for fun".... oh sure I believe that. I also have a couple of gold bars I need to unload, don't worry it took me some time to make them from lead..... interested? Be careful.

I will get a receipt from Guitar Center today or tomorrow so that there is no confusion that I am the legitimate owner of this unit. I will send a scanned copy of that receipt to anyone interested

You do know that you can get all the expansions free from korguser.net, don't you? Need to be the registered owner though.
