M3 plugin editor & cubase

Hi,
I am trying to use the m3 vst plugin editor in cubase and have installed the midi usb driver, connected the m3 via usb to my pc, and also installed the m3 plugin editor...in cubase adding an instrument track the m3 plugin won't show up eventhough I added the path of the plug in (correct path? Folder?) in devices/ plug in information... What am I doing wrong? Thanks for some help,Martin
