For me, this is not temporary. This is as real as it gets. Yes, I use phones quite often!

I am curious. What type of stands are you guys using and how are you supporting your computer keyboards and computer monitors?

I can find a stand for my keyboard but have not had luck with also supporting a computer monitor and keyboard.
** KORG Product Support Contacts **
(they support BOTH hardware and software)

Korg USA Product support -- https://www.korgusa.com/contactus (For fastest service I would suggest calling them on the phone)

Outside the U.S. contact your Korg Country Distributor -- https://www.korg.com/us/corporate/distributors/

Quik Lok WS-550 base stand

Top two sections of the WS-561 (horizontal bars and angled vertical piece)

Z-727 2nd tier
http://www.quiklok.com/catalog/?p=produ ... Name=Z-727
Top part of a VMP LCD mount (wrist and hand, if you will, drilled and bolted)

The computer keyboard just sits on the Numa Nano as you may see. I keep the mouse sitting on a cheap x-style padded piano bench to my right and use it that way. Monitors are on their own stands, as is the rack w/ other synths and interface/mixer stuff. PC is on the floor.
It's all pretty comfy and most importantly very stable, even when I bang on it. I would recommend this stuff to anyone that wants a similar setup but doesn't want to go down the furniture road. I've had different 88s on there and the keyboard then just sits wherever the 88 doesn't have buttons. If I have to type a lot, the keyboard will sit on the actual keys or my lap, regardless of where I put it away when I'm playing. This is pretty convenient in the middle, though. I wouldn't particularly want to sit at this setup and code all day, but it's really dedicated as a DAW. I use my laptop for other computing needs.

I got it as a teen and learned a ton about how to make the sounds that I heard other people play. It was my first synth with resonant filters, or any filters for that matter (the SY-35 was my only other pro synth to that point). I also developed my wah-lead and joystick love with the DW-8000 during that time. :)

I've been thinking about selling it lately (and a bunch of other stuff), especially now that I have the Kronos. I really haven't used it much in the last several years. I pulled it out recently and had a little fun (after beating the life out of the keyboard for an hour to get the key contacts to respond well), but it's not something I would use over the Kronos at this point. And really, I'm too damned lazy to pull something out of a case in my basement to use just one sound. The Trinity, then Tritons and now the Kronos, among various soft synths as well, have allowed me to get that lazy! And you know what? Good. I'm glad the Kronos can emulate most things with ease, and arguably sounds and plays better than many older instruments might. I also don't have the space to be able to setup a bunch of keyboards and have them all wired-in and ready to go. Frankly, I don't even dream of such an environment anymore.

How do you like the Angel City mod? I always really wanted that when I was using the DW heavily.

EnjoyRC, does the keyboard tray get in the way at all, or force you to move the Kronos and your seat higher than you might otherwise like? How wobbly do the KRKs get on those stands when you're playing, if at all? I like the compact setup.

My Kronos is the center of my workflow. The pen on the edge of the screen is a stylus from a Nintendo DS XL...the BIG one. It makes screen use a LOT better.

We'll be moving soon, hence my treatments are down and things are a bit of a mess.
