Tremolo instead of panning?

Does anyone know if the tremolo can be used like a dual mono trem?

As in: Run the pianos out stereo, and when I switch to Rhodes, the tremolo is not a panner. Like playing a Rhodes through a Twin into a stereo PA.

I couldn't figure it out on the front panel. Maybe the editor?

Let me explain... No, there is too much. Let me sum up.

Right now I have an XK3C + lower manual. I think the XK and the SV-1 together could be a nice complete rig, if the Rhodes and acoustic pianos in the SV-1 sound good and behave like I want them to.
Even better if I can play some of the sounds in the Korg from the Hammond. Such as Vox organ, Farfisa, and Clav. Maybe even a pad.

Sweet rig, or pipe dream?

I've only tried it at the store, so I don't know what the editor can do, but so far I like the SV-1 for piano and EP. But panning only tremolo might be a deal breaker.

Any solutions or suggestions?

You can use the editor to tailor each sound.

Start the editor and open your favorite EP patch. Engage the tremolo. Use the editor to reduce the Mix to a value closer to 0. Normally it may be set to a value up to 80. Reduce it to 30 or less and the panning effect will be gone. Save the changes to your favorite EP patch.

The SV-1 editor contains several features (like the Mix knob) that are present in the editor but not on the keyboard. So you have to use the editor to fine tune each sound -- but it's worth it
