Please help me ive been ripped off

Post by goldenfuriously »

Hello i just bought a sample library for my mc 909, it was sold to me as being in 909 format...which should be 16bit 4100h
It is at a higher bit rate and posably higher h.
this sounds like ka-ka.
I wrote a nasty letter, but in the meantime it has me wondering...i have thousands of samples in the "wrong" format.
Does anyone here know of a way, or software that will covert multiple files at one time into 16b 4100.
Putting the samples back to back in a daw and the bouncing it to 16b...wav..then to my 909 and then chopping it up really sucks.
I would owe anyone who helps me out a tremendous huge amount of gratitude...about 30 hours of straight chopping and conversion.
I did some google but it looks like a bunch of garbage to convert wave to mp3 for people with i-pods and the likes. :?:

Switch Audio Converter should do multiple files at a time.
I mainly use it for converting to .mp3 or .wma for uploading online but it is a great swiss-army-knife tool really when it comes to converting audio formats in bulk.

You can also try Voxengo's RateBrain (R8brain - free) which uses a great model to convert to any PCM depth/rate you like and it shall do the conversion at a better quality than most professional software does today. I've used it a couple of times and was perfectly satisfied.
