Sampling

Post by Timmy ford »

Hey guys I recently got a korg triton pro. I am having issues sampling. I seem to only be able to create on sample and transfer it to program. When I try and create another sample it overides the previous one even if I save it under something different.

Have you checked how much memory is available?

One thing to keep in mind is that you are not 'saving the sample to a program location'.

The sample itself is in a numbered slot in sample RAM. The program has a data field saying "use sample X from user RAM". So you need to make sure that you are saving your sample to a new slot in the RAM. If you're loading from floppy disk or whatever, make sure that you are selecting as such to 'append' or somehow not to overwrite the data you've already loaded.

Sorry if its not much help, I haven't done anything with sampling on the Triton specifically.

First thanks for the helps guys.

As far as the ram, I got all the ram in the world 91% free. X trade thanks for the help. I am actually just sampling from a CD and or Record. I can name the sample different and put in a new slot in program but it still overwrites the one before it.
