Using the output faders to control a software sequencer

Post by shirreff »

I wonder if it is possible to use the faders on the I3 to control the volume on a software sequencer?

I don't think Korg would have thought about it when the keyboard came out but it would be great if I could use the faders to raise and lower the volume of a specific track on a sequencer program.

I use Sonar as my sequencer and I have a small controller keyboard which can use to move the faders on the sequencer so I am going to try and see if I can do the same thing with the I3.

I could not see anything in the manual about it.

If anybody has tried and failed let me know before I spend hours trying to get it to work.

Well nobody has replied to my post, no wonder because it can't be done.
what a shame because it would have meant that the keyboard could be used like a controller.
Never mind.
