I'm gonna be put in the newbies categories after this one. ( get your laughs out...) But I really need to know this before I get so frustrated that I might just sell the keyboard! Ok, I read the trition's basic Guide and i'm still lost on two things....
1. I know how to record into individual tracks but... How do I record into a track and have it playback while recording into another one? It seems complicated to me because I can record a track but if i want to listen to it and also record into another, it will put the next track I select in "solo" mode and mute the others. It's kinda frustrating!!!
2. How do you quantize my music while recording?

1. go to SEQ preferences and probably change the mode to over dub instead of over right, make sure your playing the timbre you want, and just hit record
2. you cant, now have i ever seen that, sequences cant geus your next move.

Actually there is some machines (at least Roland Fantom-G) that can quantize while recording... Of course it only quantizes the midi data that you record in so you won't hear the quantized notes when you play, but if you play the midi data back it will play as quantized... But I'm not sure if this is possible on TC though...
