I'm thinking about getting the Wavestation and M1 plugins for use in the V-Machine. This is mainly for live use, as I've got a Wavestation SR and X5DR in my studio.
I managed to get a download of v1.0 of the Wavestation and after HOURS of messing around got it working on the V-Machine.
However, performance is terrible - playing more than 3 notes at once just overloads the CPU.
Does anyone know if the latest version of the Wavestation (and the M1 too) are actually useable in the V-Machine?
As I said, I've got equivalent hardware in my studio, so I only want to buy them if they're actually going to work!
Thanks,
Mark.

I gave up in the end. There's 2 main issues:
1. The V-Machine doesn't support the license activation
2. The V-Machine isn't powerful enough anyhow to support more than a few notes (3-4 notes poly).
What I've done is use SampleRobot to sample the sounds I want into sf2 format, and use SampleLord to play them.
I find this is by far the best approach, as I can combine all the sounds from all my synths into sf2 and use them with zero latency.
The only downside is limited realtime control, but this is someting I can live with.
