Crossmixed sample data in RAM (TR)

Post by LiPI »

Hi!

A few days ago I bought a Korg TR61, and I am very satisfied with it. However, there is a problem. Actually not so little!
The instrument's operating system is 1.0.4 and has 64 MB of RAM.

If you load any sample in memory (WAV, AIFF or KSF files and not just their own but others as well) then it will not be the RAM as it should, but mixed in some samples, in addition to each sample is distorted, nonsensical.

Tha sample rate is 48kHz/16bit/Mono but the error is same in other sample rate too.

Attached two files to:
these are the samples: http://oldphoto.hu/minipops.zip (made in AwaveStudio)
and this is cultivated by them in my TR: http://oldphoto.hu/minipops_tr.zip (it's saved by my KORG TR - it's has the sample KSF files, the KMP and KSC files, a drumkit to use samples and a program in D127 called MiniPOPS to use drumkit)

What do you think of what could be wrong?
Am I doing something in a wrong way or my instruments are not working properly?

Thank you for all the comments, advice!

Hi there!

The problem is solved! :)

There was incompatible RAM modules with polarity, and Triton series need non-polarity modules.

I was going to say I had the same problem. I ended up buying brand new ram from Kinston because I was using old ram from one of my old school computers that I trashed many years ago and my Le wasn't having it. LOL.
