Splitting Sample Sounds Triton vs Motif

Post by hammondcuni »

Can someone take me step by step on how
to split two sample sounds i use on my triton
classic. I know its in the owners manual
which i dont have but my regular gear
is not going to be able to fly with me this
weekend and im having to use a Triton Classic
and a Motif Classic. The Motif was a breeze to
split but the Triton is a bit harder.
Gear being left off plane. Hammond B200&

I'm not any kind of expert, but what I'd do is create a combi with de programs you want to use (up to 16, I think).
Then, with the menu you can edit the range os every program, so you choose whether to split, layer or both (and velocity, volume, etc, etc)
Not difficult but it takes a while
Be poliphonic, my friend.

Only 8 programs per combi on a Triton; it's the M3/M50 that bump it up to 16. It's not too hard to do, and gets fast once you've done it a few times.
