Van Halen Jump Combi

I made this one today. It's based on stock M50 patches, so you can just load in into a combi using the M50 editor.

EDIT: After I started playing the song now, I recalled that the bass part is played with an additional c note one octave above the lowest bass note. So that puts the low and the high part out of balance if you play both bass c notes. I'll post a new version later.

It didn't work.

It shows a a Standard Midi File and says "corrupt" (not a Combi)

Sounds like you're trying to double click on it. Did you load it into an empty combi slot using the M50 editor?

It sounds great!
I've added a drum track for band practice without our drummer.

I was able to load it via the Plug In Editor. When I attempted to load it via the stand alone M50 Editor, I was getting an error message.

I'm having some issues with the plugin (VSTi) and standalone editors. The M50 VSTi is putting old versions of my combis into the system. So hopefully your Van Halen combi is called "VH Jump" and not just "Jump"? Jump is the old version of the combi.

Could you program TOTO's Africa main synth pad? (it sounds like trombones or something like that)

Haven't been active here for a while. Here's a dump of all my sounds, including Jump and Africa. Most sounds are in area A25-A70 if I remember correct. Sometimes I use same number but different bank for same song (eg. A45 and B45).

Sorry for the newbie question, but how do I hear the programs in your file before I transfer them all to my keyboard? I wouldn't mind dumping the combis to an unused bank (say, Bank D), but when I tried to load your file using the Editor it automatically started to transfer them them to my keyboard. I got scared that would erase all my sounds and so I cancelled the transfer.

Any hints, please?
