Trouble updating my OS

Hey folks.

I seem to be having some errors while trying to update my OS on my Pro X. I am on the original factory OS, which I had to refresh to some years back due to an error I was having. I can't quite remember what that was.

Now, when I try to upate to 2.5 I this is what happens:

I hold down locate and enter while turning on my Triton, it asks me for System disk 1, I put it in, and the Triton does not recognize the disk.

What am I doing wrong? Do I need to format the disk before hand? Do I need to upgrade first to an earlier OS?

Please help me out. Thank you!

yeah you should format the disks in triton before copying the files to it... also make sure that you copy the stuff inside the folders disk 1...3 not the folders themselves
