hey i am using cubase 4, maudio 1814, rode nt1a for recording. can anybody record me a good preamp for vocals. thanks

( i am on a tight budget hehe :D )

You're right, you should tell us the budget, because you can go from a hundred euros for a bluetube preamp, to 2000 euros for a neve...

Hi!

I find that PreSonus Blue Tube Preamp is a good choice.
Another very good item for the price tag (99$) is the TubePre, always from Presonus.
There are plenty of items from Behringer and M-Audio, but I guess you're going to go out of budget in these cases.

I'm sorry, but that's just it comes to mind at the moment...

thanks diego, but i heard from many reviews that the presonus is more for bass than anything else? is this true?

I use a Focusrite Trak Master Pro. It cost me $300 and does a decent job. For the budget you are talking about, it may be a good way to go.
