Adjusting octave in a COMBO.

Post by cjp_24 »

Hey, Happy Easter to you all.

For some of my songs that I play I split the keyboard, which gives me a lower keyboard for playing chords (with strings or a piano). So within the COMBO I assign as few programs to the lower split. This is Ok but because im playing lower keyboard the tones are too low and need the octave increasing +1. Is there anyway I can do this on the fly within the COMBO without having to edit the program to +1 octave and save it as a user defined program which can take time all the while. You can specify in the MIXER tab the volume of each program 1-8 but not an octave which I thought would be a quite basic option to have here.

Any assitance, be greatful.

you can edit the pitch of individual timbres in the combi - i think its in the edit basic tab....just set to +/- 12 semitones for an octave

but it shifts the keyboard's octave which means any split points will be shifted too
