In Combination mode>P2 edit track param>pitch a combination won't let me change pitch. I can't change many of the numerical values in combination mode for some reason, on any of my Combi patches. I went into global to see if Combi mode was memory protected, it's not.
Do I need to reinstall a current operating system? Can you tell me where to get that? Thanks very much for any help.

I haven't come across this myself and I used to have an old OS before I upgraded. You should upgrade though (I guess you can download from www.korg.com).
You should note that some of the settings in combi mode won't change if you're playing a key. They appear to change but then they go back to their original value. Best not play anything sometimes. Come to think of it, I think pitch is like that but I can't check that right now...
Perhaps you should give some more info. Is it all combis? Is it the same for all parts within a combi? What other settings don't work?
Mike.

on mine it won't let me change pitch on the MOSS patches but it will on all others.
also like mike says if you are playing a key it won't let you change some things... i had this problem when one of the contacts on one of my keys was slightly bent and although it was detecting a key being pressed you could hardly hear it (if at all)..... you could check if this is the case by changing to a new combi and then trying to change pitch before you have pressed any keys as the action of changing the combi seems to kill any notes that are being pressed.

Re: Combi mode: can't change pitch
Have you a non-KORG damer pedal connected to your Triton. If so, that's likely to be the cause of this problem.LiquidLE wrote:In Combination mode>P2 edit track param>pitch a combination won't let me change pitch. The solution, to set the polarity of the damper back to the original setting and to buy a KORG damper pedal.

Ahhh! Yes!! That was it. Thanks very much to all who posted. It was a perfect progression. Um, can i use this Yamaha damper pedal though? I had checked earlier in Global mode, and couldn't quite find the page to change polarity setting for the damper pedal. Thanks again.
