Big Preset recall problem with MonoPoly and PrOtools

It's simple really, none of the MonoPoly sounds I select and use are recalled when reopening my Protools sessions.
The name displays properly but the sound playing is the first one in the list no matter what.
The only way around it is to de-intantiate/re instantiate and reselect the sound.
When using 5 instances of the plug it makes recalling a song tedious. Not to mention the confusion factor for clients and assistants.

This is on MAC OS X / Dual G5 PPC, with Protools 7.3 and 7.4 HD and the latest Legacy edition on Synchrosoft key.

HOw could such a huge blunder make it through beta and QA?
Renders the product unusable for me.

Any suggestions?
