Does Korg claim Vista compatibility for the Korg Legacy software?

Better question - why would you run it in Vista?

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to be using audio apps in Vista with the many issues still surrounding both Vista drivers and audio routing ue to DRM.

Honestly, you're better off installing XP. XP will be faster and eat up less resources and CPU cycles...

I just tried the default Digital Edition 1.3.1 (Wavestation 1.6.3) install on my Vista Home Premium laptop and it worked straight away. I even get fancy 3D Vista icons for the applications. So yes, it does run on Vista.

I got it from the Korg User site (www.korguser.net)

Yes, it contains the license. It needs to be plugged in at all time if you are using the software.

There's nearly as many answers to the "which sequencer" question as there are members of this forum! Any professional product that fully supports VSTi/au etc. <should> be fine. I use Cubase, and I believe there's a demo available from Steinberg's site.
